Fast IDP is a private, independent expediter service. We are not a government agency, and we are not an authorized agent, partner, or representative of the U.S. government, the U.S. Department of State, the American Automobile Association (AAA), the American Automobile Touring Alliance (AATA), or any other official body. In the United States, the federal government has designated AAA and AATA as the only two organizations authorized to issue International Driving Permits (IDPs) to American drivers under the 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic. The IDPs we deliver to our customers are genuine, AAA-issued IDPs. Our role is to act on the customer's behalf to obtain and ship the AAA-issued booklet on an expedited timeline. Customers may obtain an IDP directly from AAA or AATA without using our service, and often at a lower price. We charge a service fee for the speed and convenience we provide.
