Can Fast IDP provide a scanned copy of my IDP?

Yes! If you need a scanned copy of your International Driving Permit (IDP), Fast IDP can provide one - just let us know you want one when you place your order.

If a scan is not requested, we typically just send an email with a photo of the “picture page” of the IDP booklet along with tracking information by the end of the day when our customer’s IDP is processed and shipped. However, we’re happy to include a full scanned version of your IDP if that’s something you need. 

We understand that some travelers may need a digital copy of their IDP to meet specific requirements while waiting for the physical permit to arrive. For instance, some rental car companies will allow you to rent a car if they see that you have a digital scan of your IDP, even if you don’t have the physical IDP booklet with you. However, it’s important to note that only the physical IDP booklet is an official IDP, and the physical booklet is required in many circumstances.
